Devon wedding photographer | Combe House, Devon

I was excited to have the opportunity to photograph the wedding of Claudia & John at Combe House in Devon. Claudia is a photographer now based in Australia, it’s always good to work with other photographers, I have a few this year but have to admit it does add a little more pressure! A big thankyou to all of the Pomms & Aussies for making me so welcome and also a massive thanks to Fiona, Mark and the team who were beyond helpful!

The location for the wedding was stunning, I love rural weddings. To do Combe House justice I’ve taken some words from their website, if you get a chance take a look, you won’t be disappointed.

London wedding photography | Holy Trinity Church Sloane Square | Chelsea Physic Garden

Another fabulous bride & groom! I headed up to Chelsea to photograph the wedding of Elizabeth and Benjamin. The ceremony was held at the Holy Trinity Church on Sloane Sq. Such an impressive building, usually us wedding photographers shoot in small, cramped churches – especially in Devon! From there we had a quick shoot on Sloane Square, on a baking hot day in the middle of June, by the time we had finished I resembled an ugly entrant in a wet t-shirt competition. The reception was held at the Chelsea Physic Garden, such a great location for wedding or portrait photography. Cornwall wedding photography – Trevenna, Cornwall

On a very damp, foggy & drizzly day this Devon wedding photographer headed off to Trevenna on Bodmin moor, Cornwall. One of my favourite wedding venues. The perfect venue for a small, intimate, rural wedding. It’s so relaxed, Kim & Jonathon are the perfect hosts. Emily & Paul plus guests had a nightmare of a journey down from Nottingham for their Cornwall wedding, but all stresses soon oozed away after a few cold ones at this luxury wedding venue.

Hugo The Leonberger – Dog Photography

Last week our new addition, Hugo an 8 week old Leonberger puppy came to stay. We sadly lost Kobi our 4 year old Leonberger last October and Hugo is his nephew, which makes him extra special! Leonbergers are fantastic dogs, real gentle giants, he could reach up to about 14 stone. Anyway here’s a few images from the first couple of days. A week before Xmas I had the great pleasure of becoming an Essex wedding photographer for the day and shooting the wedding of Kay & Matt at the Fennes estate.

I live way up in the hills of rural Devon and woke to find it a complete white out, like everyone else I had a mare of a journey but it was worth it. The wedding was amazing, Kay & Matt were fantastic. With arctic temperatures outside we didn’t have the opportunity for lots of outdoor wedding portraits, but that didn’t matter, I had been hired to record the day as it happened.
